I was a bit unsure when I arrived - it was blowing about 20 mph though quite variable but there wasn't much water and it felt rather chilly. So I waited for the tide to come in a bit before rigging up. I was reasonably powered most of the time and it was good for some much needed gybe practice - my gybes need a lot more flat water sessions! A lovely sunny morning and it had warmed up by the time I left. Great to get a pre-work windsurfing session :)
